“Modern, water-front B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

Very modern building right by the water.
Owner Neil seemed a little cool at first, but soon warmed up, and as other reviews have said, he's an excellent cook. Breakfast was top notch - and he even gave us warm muffins to take away.
Rooms are very comfortable and modern.
Nearby restaurant Creelers looks like a shack, but it's soon clear why it gets booked up; the food is exceptional and service friendly.

“Still have great memories of this place 5 years later!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

I just saw this and it brings back so many great memories. If we ever get to Scotland and Skye again, this will be the first place I book. We travel quite a bit and this is the best B&B we've stayed at. Great modern clean rooms, fabulous food, wonderful service. Why do so many other B & B's assume everyone likes antiques stuffed into rooms? By the way, Trip Advisor would not let me go that far back. So, the actual date we stayed was September '06

Loved it!!

“Best B and B of our Scottish tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011

We unfortunately only had one night here on our way to North Uist. The bedroom was superb with everything that you could wish for.On arrival Neill the owner had just baked chocolate brownies which were to die for.The Breakfast the next morning was a banquet including more home baking in the form of raspberry muffins which we were invited to take away to have later in the day and even provided with a bag to put them in.If I have one regret it was not ordering dinner when I booked as I am sure Neill's culinary skills would have far surpassed the pub just down the road.

“Amazing B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2011

We were initially amazed by the great views provided from room through our full french windows looking out on to the sea. This was then only bettered by the all the modern facilities on offer, the very helpful owner who went to a great deal of effort every day to produce a superb breakfast and made sure we had all the information we needed to explore the island. Some great restaurants nearby and with it set in Broadford made it a great location to explore the whole of Skye.

“Great stay, great house, great breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011

My wife, baby and I stayed here two weeks ago on a whistle stop whizz to Skye whilst visiting my family in Scotland. The house is beautifully designed, very warm and comfortable and Neil (the owner) has provided guests with a great lounge with stunning views over the inner sound back to the mainland from Skye. The weather wasn't great (as is often the case in Scotland!) but we were more than happy to chill and read from the many books and magazines in the evening. Neil welcomed for our 1 year old daughter brilliantly, though he doesn't provide facilities for babies so you'll need your own travel cot and high chair provisions. Breakfast is an absolute delight, full of local produce and first class service, all in front of that stunning view. Scotland get's a bit of bad press for it's hospitality but Neil more than makes up for it – it's such a shame he's a Yorkshireman!
