Ptarmigan House, owned and operated by Sue and Mike Fink, was highlight accomodation of our two week visit to Scotland. The quality of the room and the view were unsurpassed. Likewise, the food service at both breakfast and dinner was outstanding. However, the characteristic we will remember most fondly was the friendship and attention of the hosts to our every need/desire.

All the rooms in this B+B do have great views of Broadford Bay, but our room was extremely cramped (we could barely walk around the bed) and the whole atmosphere was a bit more institutional than a typical Scottish B+B. At £56 for a very small room, it is not good value for money and I would suggest you look elsewhere as there are many fine places to stay on the Isle of Skye.
