“Warm hospitality, Great food!”

We stayed in the Mishnish for 3 nights at New Year and enjoyed excellent hospitality. The bedroom, breakfast room and restaurant had been decorated to a high standard and the staff were very attentive and could not have been more pleasant and helpful, accomodating any additional requirements without fuss. The restaurant was great value for money and served a delicious array of courses, all well presented and generous. The infamous Mishnish bar provided fun entertainment and I even got up and did a song with the band...perhaps I overdid it a little? Well....it was New Year! What a lovely start to 2012. We will be back soon...thanks to all the staff in the bar and the hotel for a fantastic time!

“A welcome taste of Tombermory”

We visited Tobermory in late December for Mr. Peabubble's 40th birthday and went to the Mishnish on the recommendation of our landlady. The bar is friendly and quaint with traditional decor and cosy nooks and crannies to take refuge in, one of which conceals a beautiful (though sadly locked) piano. Sitting by the fire in our own snug, sipping whisky with the rain drumming on the roof was a real highlight of our stay. Shame about the appaling toilets, although the ones in the adjoining restaurant area were lovely. We ate in the restaurant where we again had our own booth. The food was amazing, my favourite dish being the cullen skink. Although it wasn't featured on the menu, our waiter, Will recommended it and it was one of the most sublime, authentic examples of the dish I have tasted. Delicious! Will was also very friendly and informative and full of interesting stories about local people and places. We left having sated our appetite for food and local knowlege and would definitely go back for an encore! Thanks Will, and enjoy your well-earned holiday in the New Year! Izzie and George.

“Thank you for a lovely weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

My partner and I stayed at the Mishnish for the weekend ten days ago and we had a lovely time. We were made very welcome from our initial enquiry to booking and on arrival we were greeted by our first names which was such a lovely friendly touch. The room we stayed in 'The Mishnish' was first class and the bath was just amazing! We ate in the hotel one of the nights and the food was excellent, again with friendly and professional service.
Many thanks to Evelyn and the other staff for making our weekend so special.

Room Tip: Choose The Mishnish - it's on the top floor but well worth climbing the stairs for :-)

“Yum.”

Had mussels and langoustines and was wonderful. Not cheap and wine is very dear but the food was great and service was exemplary. Served by a girl from Otley in Leeds and she was very helpful throughout. Cracking.

Room Tip: Eat here....as a treat, maybe....

“Great stay”

We were on holiday in July in Mull and stayed in the Mishnish, they had a great service, the room was lovely and a very good rate too! The breakfast was first class and they couldnt do enough for you, unfortunately never spent too much time in the bar as was very pregnant but we had a beautiful view from the window where I could relax and watch the goings on in the bay. We would highly recommend to others and will definately be back :)
