Craig and I got married on the 3rd September 2011 and live near Loch Ness. We wanted somewhere to escape to for a few days post wedding that wasn't too far away and having trawled the internet came across Sonas House.
We arrived having had a very windswept and wet journey and arrived to a very warm welcome. We were delighted with the Blue Poppy room and loved the fact that there were some nice extras like a wee fridge that you could use to chill a bottle of wine of cans of soft drink. We were also lucky enough to find a chilled bottle of Prosecco, gorgeous choccies and a lovely card to celebrate our wedding!
For us the place was fab, no pressure to do anything, plenty of space, views to die for from our own Balcony and what felt like our own personal heated pool that we seemed to be the only ones using! The breakfasts were lovely and our morning swim following it was a real treat!
Tobermory Main street was only 10 - 15 mins walk down hill, we used the roads as the wee path was a bit muddy and dark at this time of the year. The haul back up the hill or 3 was good for walking off all the lovely pub grub that we ate!
We spent a very chilled four nights at Sonas House and although we love Mulll anyway this was very special and we are definately planning a trip back the next time we feel the need for being spoiled! Thank you to Laura and family for looking after us so well and we hope to catch up with you all at some point soon! :)
