We had a wonderful 3 days on Mull in August largley down to our hosts Tim and Linda, not so much the weather. This traditional B&B is down a quiet road a short distance from Fionnaphort with your own separate lounge and breakfast taken in a large kitchen while watching the birds and hares. Linda helped us plan our few days and then booked the trips and the resturaunts for us - a real treat! Their website is one of the best I've used, lots of useful information. If you enjoy nature we would recommend a wildlife tour, saw red deer, otters,eagles and so much more - brilliant. We would go back tomorrow given the chance.

Isle of Mull :) It costs staying several days there.
Maolbhuidhe B&B - bed and breakfast with the name I still cannot pronounce correctly :) but it's Number_ONE bed and breakfast in my rating of Scotland B&B during our 2-weeks trip in may 2011. First of all - the owners - Linda and Tim are very helpful. Linda assisted us in booking trips to near islands, and helped us to book ferry in advance.. it was really pleasure to talk about local life...
As to rooms - wow!

Very homely B & B with our own sitting room. Excellent breakfast and tea,coffee and biscuits in bedroom. Most of all appreciated the warmth and helpfulness of out hosts.

The room was comfortable with a nice view. A 20 minute walk from Fionnphort and the ferry to Iona. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is tasty. It's a real taste of Mull.
