“Outstanding Hospitality”

On planning our trip to Mull for the first time and having undertaken a lot of research of other hotels across the island, we intuitively staked all our hopes on the Bellachroy being to our liking. Like the A Team, we just love it when a plan comes together!!!

This is a fantastic place led by the warmth and attention of the owners. There's great food (look out for the platters!!!), great banter with the locals, a hard weekly quiz (we came last but won a can of beans!!!), great service and a happy and vibrant atmosphere that runs throughout the Bellachroy . . including the singing chef . . not a bad title and concept for a new chef programme, eh BBC . . ?!!?

Can not recommend the Bellachroy enough . .we will certainly be returning next year!

“Superb pub food and a warm welcome”

We had dinner with our family in the Bellachroy Hotel. The welcome from Nick, debbie and the staff could not have been more warm. The menu which is heavily based on local meat and seafood was enticing and the reality was not disappointing. Top this off with the scenery which surrounds the Bellachroy Hotel and you have a great example of highland hospitality at its very best.

“Had a great time, highly recommended!”

Stayed at the Bellachroy for two nights last week during our Scotland road trip. Being vegan. my expectations we quite low and I was reconciled to the fact that I would be living on chips, toast and salad.

Imagine my surprise when we went down for dinner and I was presented with a number of gorgeous vegan options. In fact, the menu shows that someone there is passionate about food.
Breakfast was really good (again, the vegan was well taken care of with soya milk) with yummy home-made marmalade and warm service with a smile.

The room was really good, only quibble is the squishy mattresse, and the power shower was awesome.

We felt really well taken care of.

“A Great Find”

Our first visit to Mull was a spur of the moment decision and we were guided to the Bellachroy Hotel by the reviews we had read. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location and our room had a really comfortable bed with a great shower in the en suite. We arrived in time to enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Really good selection on the menu and not too pricey. The staff were all really friendly and helpful with local information and directions. All in all an ideal place to stay and we definitely hope to make a return visit. We have already recommended friends to visit Bellachory during their island hopping holiday.

“Brilliant!”

Oh we had such a ball at the Bellachroy! The location is amazing - out in the wilds of Mull in the tiny picturesque village of Dervaig. Six of us stayed in the really comfortable rooms - great en-suites, comfy beds, really handy sitting room too which was ideal for our party. Two of our group who booked too late to get a room at the Inn stayed at the nearby Tigh na Mara B&B, which they also recommend.
The food at the Inn is delicious - the meat/seafood/island platters have a lovely range of local food. The haggis and black pudding are to die for, as is the Mull cheddar. As my dad would say, you'd get up in the middle of the night to eat it!
The staff were fantastic. Charlotte, Fiona, Tim et al were friendly, helpful and patient with us eight idiots! Tim is even posting home the cardi I left behind after a particularly exciting pina colada and darts evening. Thanks!
We can't recommend the Bellachroy highly enough and hope to return.
