Stayed 1 night with our family (2 kids aged 2 and 7) and relatives with their 1-year old while touring around Isle of Mull. The hosts were very approachable and friendly, no stiffness of any kind (that always puts me off). The house is great, full of character and the rooms very tastefully decorated - you see the hands of the artists all over! There is a lot of artwork around and we got a tour of the workshop and chats on the techniques and themes, etc. Very pleasant.
We had a separate entry but our relatives stayed in the main part of the house which we might not have enjoyed as much - although this might be seen as minor by some. The property just had new carpets put in and the rooms were very comfortable.
The breakfast was spot on - very good food, great Scottish salmon and kids had fantastic sausages (I rarely get excited by something as mundane as a British sausage but they really were very, very good). Nothing burnt, over/underdone, etc, can't fault it. The service was spot on, too. Well done.
Overall, a great stay – a very good b&b, highly recommended.
