“Our own entrance, peace and tranquility, loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 June 2011

We had a fabulous stay with Sally and Graham, they are just such fun and lovely hosts. We had one of the Garden rooms, with our own entrance, which was really nice as we had been staying away from home a long time, so could just come and go as we pleased. Beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean. One tiny point is that the bathroom was quite small and the shower was in the bath, which might be difficult for elderly folk to manage. Breakfasts were delicious, with lovely bread, fresh eggs and local produce, along with entertainment from Sally and Graham. Fabulous and we loved it here. We also had supper at the local restaurant, Am Birlinn, who offer a collection and return service. Delicious superbly cooked food, a very high standard, and excellent value for money, we highly recommend both the restaurant and Druimard.

“Comfortable B&B, great location, friendly hosts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 May 2011

We stayed two nights in room 6 (one of the Garden Rooms) and it was clean and comfortable. Graham and Sally were very welcoming, relaxed and chatty and showed us their studio and paintings. They were happy to share their local knowledge and tips. Breakfast was great - home-grown stewed rhubarb and fresh laid eggs from the hens.

Dervaig is a lovely wee village just a 5 min walk away. We ate one evening at the Bellachroy Inn and the second at Cafe Fish in Tobermory. Be sure to visit Calgary Bay and the Art in Nature Sculpture walk. Lunch at the Gallery tea room was great - lovely soups.

“Lovely place. Extremely warm welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2011

Sally and Graham are wonderful hosts. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, and we slept well. Breakfast was lovely and relaxed and we lingered a long time over it, as we were happily chatting to Sally and Graham about their artwork.
We even bought a painting of Graham's which now has pride of place in the living room. I was also quite fond of the chicken that followed us around as we were going back and forwards to the car.
We stayed in one of the two garden rooms on the ground floor which have their own entrance to the gravel driveway.

“Friendly, comfortable and relaxing stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 March 2011

My wife and I had a very comfortable and enjoyable four night stay at the Druimard Country House. Our room was the "Staffa" - a double room with King size bed en suite, the bed was very comfortable which resulted in a good nights sleep, there was plenty of space for your clothes and to generally relax before retiring for the night. Sally and Graham, our hosts, were friendly and had plenty of knowledge of the island for wildlife spotting, quiet walks and places of interest.
Breakfast - a good selection on offer cooked to your liking by Graham and served with a smile by Sally. Both Sally and Graham are artists with much of their excellent work on show around the house and in particular the breakfast room which makes for an interesting talking point each morning.
In the village of Dervaig, which is only a five to ten minute walk away, the local pub serves some of the best evening meals for both value and quality, even their snacks at lunch time were excellent.
This was our third visit to the island and the first time at this accommodation and we will have no hesitation in returning to the Druimard Country House on our next visit to the beautiful Isle of Mull.

“So nice to be able to be honest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2010

It's rare that I actually go places and think I must go back very soon.
Druimard, with Sally and Graham was a really warm, friendly and relaxed place with great breakfasts and big beds. Nestled in the beauty of North Mull and the charming village of Dervaig, we got lots of tips from S+L on what to do and when. Sea Eagle spotting, walks to die for, and culture and food that makes this part of the world, and this guest house, a very special place to be. The stay – 5 nights – was really magic without all the stuffiness and stiffness of many a hotel or guesthouse. Our hosts felt like friends we'ed known all our lives without getting in the way. That takes some doing!
