A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Ardness House and -wow- can Gillian cook. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed 3-course meals (reasonably priced) prepared by Gillian with some home grown veggies. Breakfast menu had the full range of options. The other guests were friendly, some of them were repeat visitors. The woodfire in the lounge was a treat after a day out in the rain on Iona and Staffa/Fingal's Cave. Gillian is a 'local' and very knowledgeable about places to go and things to do. Our bedroom overlooked the back and was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had a lovely warm towel rail (good for drying wet clothes) but might be a tight fit for a large person. We would highly recommend Ardness House and are definitely hoping to return one day

Having stayed at Ardness House 3 years ago had no hesitation in going back to an extremely comfortable, spotless and friendly home. Food excellent and views idyllic. Hoping to visit again in the not too distant future. Ideally situated for exploring Mull and easy access to the short ferry trip across to Iona.

Found this working farm in THREE brochures, so they were not shy in making themselves known. After a wonderful one night stay, we have recommended Gillian and her family to many friends already. A warm welcome from Mum during a cool afternoon, very clean bedroom with comfortable bed; then a choice of menu for a three course evening meal - all local grown or sourced; all tasted superb. Then after a relaxing evening with other guests, and a comfortable night on that comforatble bed, what a breakfast - could have had FIVE courses, but the FULL Scottish plateful beat even me - then I had no room for lunch!!!! A 'home from home' with wonderful hostess - A MUST FOR ALL ON MULL!!!!!

Clean, well organized, friendly and perfectly located for a great stay on Mull.
Ardness House is my first choice for a return visit to than wonderful island. From the spacious, clean bathroom to rooms with big window looking out to the sea, wood fire in the shared living room it was a number one place to stay. I would highly recommend to all.
