This brilliant house was an amazing base for a fantastic holiday on the Isle of Lewis. Weather was superb ...even able to have a couple of barbies on the decking at the back of the house! During the stay we found some amazing beaches and wee art cafes and it was great to come back to a property which had lots of home comforts available.....loved the spa bath Graham!

Stayed at Melboast with Mummy,Daddy, Granny, Antie and uncle for a whole week. Big Graham had a nice wee cot and bath organised for me so I was a very happy wee boy. I also really liked the big telly and all the fancy sky cartoon chanels to keep me quiet while all the big people drank wine!!! I cant wait to go back when I am bigger so I can have a shot at surfing like my Antie and Uncle on the fantastic beaches. Ben (aged 2 months)

Craigroyston Lodge.

This is a stylishly appointed and very warm and comfortable holiday home. We had a fabulous time on the island. The hospitality we received, from Graham and the team, was genuinely warm and sincere. Nothing was too much trouble!

Fortunately the weather during our stay was great - despite the forcast. Everyone told us to take no notice of the weather forcast and they turned out to be right!

We had a couple of super meals at Digby Chick in Stornoway. 3 courses only £16.95 if you 're in before 6.30pm. Good childrens menu too.

The island has great beaches. We especially liked the one at Port of Ness because the Beach House cafe overlooks it which has a lovely waitress and very tasty food.

Hebridean Luxury Holiday Cottages, mainly based in Stornoway, are an excellent place to stay. They are truly 5 star accommodation and the service from Graham, Morag and the team was second to none. Right down to being given coffe and bacon rolls when the ferry was delayed in the morning. Everyone takes a personal interest in you and your holiday and wants it to be just great, which ours was. Stornoway is a good base to explore Lewis and Harris if you are going for the first time and hebridean Luxury Cottages are just the ticket to ensure that your stay will be top notch.
