We felt totally at home within minutes of arriving and thoroughly enjoyed our short break. The house is very well appointed and furnished to a high standard with a delightful pony living next door to keep the kids happy.

The beaches on Uig and Harris are truly spectacular if you are lucky enough with the weather.

Stornaway is very close to the house and has pretty much all you would expect with a museum, restaurants and supermarkets.

All in all a very comfortable break a home from home.

The house has everything you need. I loved the full length windows all around the house so no matter where you were you could see triple/quad aspect windows.

Fab place to spend a sunny day or just relax and listen to rain and watch the clouds through the skylights.

Morag and graham have a great property here and highly recommend.

We have just enjoyed our second visit to Metagama Lodge and as before we have had a wonderful time. Morag and Graham could not have done more to make our stay special. There is so much to see and do on the island and the views can not fail to impress. A very comfortable house with plenty of room and great position alongside a working croft which had new born lambs. Excellent position for walking in to Stornoway and near great beaches as well.
