“Excellent all rounder”

My mother and father recently booked in to Adamo for one night whilst visiting us in Stirling. They had an amazing room with the only problem being that the sensory light in the bathroom wnet off when Dad took a shower. Much to our hilarity. Other than that they had an excellent stay. We joined them for drinks on the Saturday evening and the cocktails were amazing and service was excellent. We also continued on after dinner to the Eva nightclub located in the basement and had an excellent time. A small club where you can have a booth, still have a conversation, great drinks choice and then move to the louder area to have a boogie. We had a super time. Breakfast at the hotel also gets a thumbs up from the parents, great selection well cooked. We will definitely be returning soon!

“A modern and stylish boutique hotel with excellent service, food and drinks.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011 via mobile

Stayed here for 1 night, very well presented hotel with attentive and friendly staff that made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the penthouse apartment which was extremely well presented and made for an excellent romantic escape. Dinner was excellent and well presented with knowledgeable staff who were on hand at all times. The bar had an extensive cocktail menu which were also well made and tasted sublime. A very comfortable nights sleep was followed with an excellent breakfast. A very nice hotel, with good food, great drink and attentive staff which made for an excellent romantic escape and we look forward to returning soon.

“Super weekend break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

We were looking for a nice hotel and resteraunt for the night with visiting friends from Spain. Adamo were, at the time, offerering £80 db&b pppn. We had a lovely, stylish room, food was excellent, bar lively and friendly and the staff were fantastic. I would definately recommend this hotel for a romantic night away or with friends (as the nightclub in the basement was great fun)

Room Tip: We had one of the suites. This is on the main street, however we were not disturbed by noise and oth...

“Quirky hotel with very good food”

First impressions of this hotel where very poor, rear access through a nightclub entrance, dingy and smelly. Check In slightly disorganised but welcoming. From here things got better the room was very nice, bed comfortable and shower large and very good.

We went to the bar for a drink which took a while to get but was made very well including advice about the type of beer to have.

Food in the restaurant was very good and the service by one of the team "Catriona Macinnes" was excellent. Unfortunately the rest of the service was very amatureish, water was asked for and forgotten about 5 times, and first wine choice was forgotten then when we reminded them, it wasn't available.....second choice also not available by this time we had started our main course and the waiter decided to discuss this with us rather than sort out an alternative! ended up going for one of the house wines...finally; whic was very good!

We wouldn't stay here on Friday or Saturday, nightclub would make for a really disturbed night!

“a lovely experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

I stayed here one day and night (with my husband who was recovering from surgery) The room was very spacious and had lovely views over the area. We were offered a lower room when staff realised my husband had some mobility problems but we were glad that we stuck to the original room that we booked as the lift alleviated any problems and the view was so interesting. The meals were superb and the staff were friendly and very caring -without being any way patronising or intrusive. We will stay there again.

Room Tip: high room had great view to watch swallows and other birds on nearby buildings
