Good location, friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast and excellent service - best pot of tea ever. Bathroom had a bit of a musty odor.

We stayed here for one night & found it to be very comfortable. The staff were so friendly & made it feel like a home away from home. We had the 2nd floor & had to carry suitcases but someone helped us so was no bother.The room was clean with tea/coffee making facility, tiny bathroom but it served it's purpose. Cereals available plus Large cooked breakfast with our very first taste of haggis and black pudding. YUM! Thank you for a short but enjoyable stay.

Fantastic "wee" pub/hotel, one of the best in Biggar. Can always be guananteed a lovely welcome, staff are freindly and lots of banter. The selection of food never seems to amaze me, and good value for money.

This hotel is as close to the centre of Biggar as you could want. The attitude of all the staff was excellent as were the meals that we enjoyed.The hotel decor was tired but this was clearly being addressed by the owners as ongoing work showed. The room was spacious and the ensuite excellent. With the right staff and a manager leading them in the right direction I would gladly stay here again. On a side note travellers should avoid the local butchers and fish & chip shop (on the Edinburgh side of the hotel) as the quality oftheir fayre was awful- Steak pie that had contents like a tin of dog food. Battered haddock that I suspect even a starving cat would have turned it's nose up to. The hotel clearly did not source its food from these 2 establishments.
