I looked for a B&B establishment in a quiet location in Biggar whilst transporting my daughter and a carload of her belongings from Edinburgh to pastures new. Cuil Darach was perfect. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and were given good advice about the eateries of Biggar for our evening meal. The rooms (and bathrooms) were modern, tastefully furnished, spacious and immaculately clean. The tranquil location was a catalyst for a good night's sleep. The cooked breakfast was delicious with the main items being locally sourced. There was also a wide range of cereals and yoghurts etc and the home made bread was irresistible. The relaxing stay got our onward journey off to an excellent start.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this stay. I had never stayed in a small b&b before and was a bit nervous about staying in someones house.

However the landlady was warm and welcoming and the rooms were superb. The decor and bathrooms were done to a very high standard and the views were stunning!

This is a very well run small B&B just off the cnetre of Biggar. We were there for a wedding reception and were able to walk to it. Our room was lovely, very clean and spacious. Fresh milk was given for our tea/coffee! Breakast in the morning was excellent with a large choice. Very friendly landlady with a lovely wee dog!! Would thoroughly recommend it.
