My wife amd i stayed in January and can only say good things about this hotel we stayed in one of the lodges and the room was excellent with all modern ameneities, it was very quiet and we looked on to the golf course.Tha main hotel is a very nice looking building and when inside it is old world decor and really nice, all the staff were so helpfull.We had a meal there on the night of our stay and it was really good value all in we had a great time and would reccomend this hotel to anyone.

I've been trying in vain to get some idea of a wedding cost, and a date to visit the venue for some time. I live 2.5 hours away and this seemed a good way of opening dialogue etc. First I was promised a return call by a manager which did not come. Then after speaking to Samantha outlining roughly what I was seeking I was promised ( via answer phone message ), an email detailing costs for my requests. As a last resort I spoke with Eve who assured me she would speak to Mr Kuhler and call me the following today as both were on an early shift together. This never happened. They have not only my home telephone number, but mobile and two email addresses also, so no excuses. Obviously this establishment can pick and choose whom they provide quotations and facilities too. In this economic climate I'd like to know their secret. Is it really so hard to work out rough figures, email these and book a meeting? It would appear so.

We had our wedding at the Piersland Hotel, it was a fantastic day with lovely staff.
Martin and his staff were amazing and he couldn’t do enough for us. The venue is brilliant, with lovely period features making it stand out from other wedding venues.
On the run up to our wedding we also had regular contact with the staff and each time they were very helpful and put our minds at rest.
The wedding breakfast food was tremendous; the quality was outstanding with all our guests commenting on how good it was. The rooms were of a very high standard and the honeymoon suite was gorgeous. The breakfast on both mornings was delicious.
Overall we would definitely recommend holding your wedding here, dining here and staying in the Piersland. The service, quality and price are amazing.

I celebrated New Year's Day with a lunch with my family at the Piersland House Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations!

I have eaten here often over the years, and have always appreciated its easy going yet professional standard of service, beautiful building and delightful grounds. But, to be fair, the food has in the past been of variable standard.

But this New Year, (2012), they really excelled themselves - our party of five all had marvellous food and unhurried yet appropriately attentive service. And, considering the numbers they were serving, they managed to make the whole experience feel really special. The food was delicious, and the servings were generous.

And excellent value at £25 per head. A perfect start to the New Year!
