We chose this accommodation due to other reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. The accommodation is fantastic. The house is spotless and beautifully decorated. The room (room 2) was spacious and well appointed and the en-suite bathroom was clean, modern and had a lovely power shower.
The couple who run the accommodation are both very friendly (not overly friendly) and very helpful with tips on places of interest. As per other reviews, it is worth commenting on the breakfast which is simply fantastic. The choice is huge and there are a number of alternatives to the standard fry including kippers, smoked salmon and homemade fishcakes. There is also a beautiful fresh fruit salad waiting for you every morning, good coffee, home made grenola, serials and lovely fresh bread to throw in the toaster.
In the evenings we ate in the Applecross Inn and the Walled Garden, both of which I will try to get round to reviewing but in short, both were excellent. It is a 30 minute walk from the accommodation to the Applecross Inn and a further 10 or so minutes if going to the Walled Garden. It is a comfortable walk along the typical single lane tracks with no pavement but of course no traffic to worry about! Just try to remember a torch for the walk home.
Back at the accommodation there is a very well kept garden with a sun deck and a garden house. Both have magnificent views across the water to Skye. It is no problem to pick up a bottle of wine and sit on the deck watching the sun set.
In general, this is probably the nicest B&B we have stayed at and we could not recomend it more highly. If we are back in the area again, which we hope to be, then we will do our best to stay again.
