We had a wonderful stay for one night, with a very warm welcome from Allistair. Our friends (German) were greeted in German and we enjoyed a cuppa with Allistair including a chat as you would normally have it with an old friend. We felt immediately welcome and the restaurant that Vanessa and Allistair had booked for us was excellent. It was in walking distance and beside excellent food it also had a good choice of single malts. It was a wonderful start of a week long trip with old friends whom we wanted to show Scotland. We very much recommend this guest house. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms very well equipped. We hope to be back soon. Thanks, Allistair and Vanessa for such a good start to our trip.

We stayed in a twin-bed room for one night and really enjoyed it. The room is spacious, especially the bathroom! What wows us most is the facilities and small equipments the guest house provides with, including from hair dryer to patch board, from sew kit to cotton pads, very thoughtful indeed! The host Alistair and hostess Vanessa are very nice and helpful, served us delicious breakfast and answered lots of questions. BTW, there's a small tip. You may find it a bit confusing to get to the guest house via the guide of GPS. In fact, after following the instructions to enter the road, just keep driving, you'll finally find the guest house on your left hand!

If you want to stay with friends, you must check in at Glen Rowans. When you leave this beutiful village Drumnadrochit, you will miss your lovely hosts Alistair and Vanessa. More kind persons are hard to find.
We had planned to take bus-trips around the other villages, but three days wasn´t enough for exploring Drumnadrochit walking. Beautiful nature, view-points everywere! And nice weather.
I mustn´t forget telling about the people in the village, they were all very kind!

We had a great time, a great weather for October (lucky aren't we?). Allistair and Vanessa Ferguson are great, lovely and dedicated hosts. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Allistair spend lots of time answering all of my curious questions, and he definitely likes the French. Merci beaucoup, et à bientôt!!!
