This hotel is better than some supposedly "high class" hotels and the rates are good. Our room was very clean and well appointed. There was a good choice of tea, coffee, etc. in the room and there was even an electric blanket provided. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We will be back!

we stayed one night last week, lovely setting by the shore. Room was clean and comfortable . Lounge spacious and lots of books to borrow, as well as usual TV and a bar with an outstanding range of Malt Whisky. Breakfast was fine. Conveniently placed if travelling further North. Recommended

on arrival we were met even though i gave no arrival time.
our room was of a large size, clean and tidy .
everything we needed was in the room.
we ate dinner in the hotel and the food was lovely.
hotel was quiet at night and we slept soundly.
breakfast had plenty of choice and enjoyable.

We booked online about 6 months in advance (in February). When we paid, the holder told us that we had to pay 3% more also using the debit card. This is absolutely unfair. Moreover there is no indication of this surcharge in the internet site of the hotel, differently from other B/B were we stayed in our holidays in Scotland where it is clearly indicated.
Moreover, we did not find place in the private parking and we had to park outsided. Nothing to comment on the room.
