Stayed for one night in December, after party night. We were allocated a room in the Spa wing, which is a pleasant enough walk, once we had gone down a floor in the lift. It took us through the Spa area, which seemed nice.
Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Had a good night sleep, being away from the main house. We had a reasonable view of the waterside from the room.
We had breakfast in the morning, in a room at the end of the Grand Hall, which was decent enough and as it was buffet style, there was no need to go hungry.
The Hotel itself is set in a picturesque part of Bishopton and is very impressive. It makes for a nice treat, if and when you can afford it.

My husband surprised me with an overnight stay in Marhall for our 10th wedding anniversary . It was sensational . The superb high quality of this romantic hotel was truly spectacular .
The views , the furnishings , the professional friendly staff , the room, the pool & spa facilities , the food , even the perfect G&T !!!
I felt like Kate Middleton !!
This hotel is highly recommended, especially for a special occasion , you won't be disappointed . Infact you will be buzzing from the gorgeous experience as we are today !

Have been coming to mar hall on various occasions throughout the past 2 years, mainly with my mother and really cannot fault the hotel. From breakfast to dinner, lunch and afternoon tea the food and service has been second to none. Always returning, as it is so nice to see familiar faces each time I arrive. Greg in the cristal and the hall has been able to recognise us each time and welcome us back and attend to our every need, aswell as the other staff memebers! Gordon at reception is also most helpful and attentive. Drink prices in the bar are quite pricy but in retrospect, as it is a 5* hotel and as explained by the barman it is on par with other 5* hotels in the area. The singer really sets the mood in the lounge and made us look forward to xmas time! I look forward to booking up soon, once the bank balance has been topped up.

I spent a Sat evening with my wife at Mar Hall to celebrate her 40th birthday and I can say that it exceeded all our expectations. The location, service, the food, and the room (classic) were first class and my wife had a very relaxing hour in the spa facilities. We were particularly impressed by the level of attention provided by the staff. We will definitely return again for a break sooner rather than later.
