I was visiting Crieff on business in Feb 2011 and needed to find somewhere local to stay at late notice ,found website and phoned to find Crieff Hotel had a single room avaliable.I was pleasently surprised by the quality of the hotel which i would say has been recently renovated to a high standard, my room was impeccably clean and the bar/restuarant area had a good atmosphere. Food was excellent both evening meal and the lovely scottish breakfast.The owners were friendly and interested in their guests so overall i can highly recommend this hotel.

Booked in for the weekend. Four females in two rooms. Great value for money excellent quality food and very relaxing atmosphere. The thing that really stood out in this break was the friendly nothings too much trouble attitude of the owner and his wife. Rooms were spotlessly clean and modern. Could not fault anything. Will definately return and would highly recommend a visit to this lovely hotel in this lovely town.

I have just returned from a week-end at the Crieff Hotel and cannot praise it highly enough. The atmosphere, service and above all the food and presentation of the food was exceptional.
I was with friends and we were made so to feel so welcome . Although it is an old hotel the owners have decorated to a very high standard plus keeping the very homely feeling. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Crieff itself is a lovely town and there is plenty to see and it is very to close to the city of Perth which also has a lot of historical value.

Myself and a friend stayed here as part of a road trip around Scotland. We weren't booking hotels in advance, just turning up in various locations and finding accommodation on the day. We walked into the bar (quite trendy for the town it's in), and got on well with the owner. It basically met our needs perfectly - large & clean room, nice bar, good food, and good value. Admittedly, the upstairs portion of the hotel needs revamping (which I believe is in progress), but this didn't bother us in the slightest. Who goes on holiday to stare at the carpets anyway?!
