“Delightful, warm atmosphere and convenient location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2010

This October was our second stay! Billed as a b & b, Coshieville is more like a hotel that only serves breakfast (which is just great with fresh eggs from their own chickens, etc.). There is a lovely large lounge opposite the dining room on the ground floor and all rooms are on the second and third floors. It is so clean and filled with fresh flowers, the staff is most accomodating and the location is swell for hiking in Glen Lyon, etc. and touring Tayside. It is a short drive to dinners at the Fortingall Hotel (eat in the bar!) and Ailian Craggan in Weem and of course spots in Aberfeldy. We intend to return.

“A gem of the Highlands”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2010

Our stay at Coshieville house was a memorable one which coincided with some Summer weather in late September. We were blown away by the freindly hospitable service levels and cleaniliness of this Bed and Breakfast.. The breakfast was amazing and the whole 3 day stay great value for money. The bedroom was exceptional and had excellent technology.

“Perfect comfort, warm hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

This was my second stay at Coshieville House and it was even better than the first a few years ago. A really lovely B&B. Ideally situated in central Perthshire for routes in all directions, it's a 300-year old former drovers' inn with 6 bedrooms, dining room and a large sitting room, so really more like a small and intimate hotel. After long days on the hill or river it's a joy to come back to the warmth and comfort, now to quite a high specification. Kathy and Ian are so helpful with everything--local information, packed lunches, drying wet gear etc, and the breakfasts will keep you going for 24 hours! Very good value. It will always be my first choice for this part of Scotland.

“Fantastic accommodation, fabulous breakfast and friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2010

We arrived to a very warm greeting at about 6.30pm. After being shown the breakfast room and the reading room (where the were plenty of games and DVDs to borrow) we were taken to our room. The room was beautifully made up with big fluffy towels, home made cake, fudge and tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities. There was a brand new TV/DVD player which you could also insert your iPod into and use as a player for any stored movies! The bathroom, whilst pink, was spotless with small shampoo/conditioner/vanity/shower cap sets. There was a good size bath tub with a great power shower. There was even an electric heater for if it was too cold!

Breakfast the next morning can only be described as excellent. You order your breakfast the day before and specify your time. The owner came and offered us tea/coffee within a minute of our arrival and about 10 minutes later, a perfectly cooked breakfast arrived. I opted for the table spread and toast which had a choice of approx 6 cereal types, 3 sorts of yoghurt, fruit juice, fresh fruit (inc. melon, pineapple and berries), jams and prunes. My partner on the other hand feasted on haggis, eggs (perfectly cooked), bacon, saussage, black pudding, potato cake and toast, followed by yoghurt and muesli. He said it was the "best breakfast he had had away from home, ever".

We stayed for two nights and the second evening/morning was equally good. I would most definately recommend this B&B to anyone...

“A lovely place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2010

Our welcome was wonderful. We had a family room for two adults and two children aged 8 & 9 and it was great. Kids loved their own little space within the room.

Breakfast was fantastic and service was very friendly. Room was immaculate and very comfortable.

I don't usually write reviews but was so impressed by Coshieville and the hosts that I feel compelled to recommend.
