Mark and his wife made us feel as though we were staying with family. Very nice room and excellant breakfast. Mark recommended local restaturants for dinner and driving directions to local distillaries. Highly recommend staying at this B&B.

I have stayed in Aberfeldy for the first time; I found this B&B very comfortable and absolutely delicious. The owners, Mr. Mark, was friendly and welcoming, his hot breakfast was excellent and exquisite, that I definitely recommend. The rooms are warm and large, especialy the beedroom comfortable. When I'll come back in Scotland, securly the Balnearn 'll my B&B.
I strongly recommend. Giuseppe from Turin
As the photos on the B&B website show, this is a lovely Victorian house. The owners were most helpful with our email inquiries when booking from overseas.
We stayed here for 3 nights, the owners were friendly and welcoming, our double bedroom with ensuite was large and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The hot breakfast was made to order and my eggs were done exactly as asked.
We were out and about each evening but there was also a very comfortable lounge room for guests' use. The bedrooms room had nice touches, such as shortbread with the tea and coffee tray.
The third member of our group had a single room/ensuite in the 'new wing' which was small, but adequate.
I've stayed at a lot of B&Bs, and the Balnearn is one of my absolute favorites - so much so that I've visited there on four different occasions. The Balnearn has beautifully decorated rooms, a comfortable and dedicated sitting room, is centrally located in walkable Aberfeldy, and offers an absolutely delicious breakfast. Last but not least, the Balnearn is run by two lovely people, Mark and Claire. Should you be in the area, Aberfeldy and the Balnearn are both worth going out of your way for - I definitely recommend.
Stayed here mid-week in the Loch Tay Suite. Lovely large room with a garden view and the shower in the bathroom was class! Breakfast is made to order and was delicious, I recommend you mix it up by having haggis instead of black pudding. Claire was very kind to lend us a walking map and was more that happy to arrange activities or restaurant bookings. Would definitely stay here again!
