old fashioned hotel, which needs money spent on it, dont think any locals would use this hotel.
meals were just about ok, but stuck in the 70s, some menu items out of tins and sauces and gravies out of a packet, throw out the corn flour chef. rooms only had baths with only small bar of soap supplied. overall the room was comfy but dated, would not recommend hotel and would not return.

Stayed two nights and think the staff are very good. The food is not to my taste. Very old fashioned menu with poor choice. Rooms very dated and not too clean. Our shower did not work properly. You basically get what you pay for. Nice setting recommend a walk up the 'Birks'

I spent a weekend at the Breadalbane Hotel with a group of Ramblers. The rooms were very comfortable although ours only had a bath and not a shower. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The meals were excellent and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Both nights the entertainment was very good especially the Friday night where musicians gathered and played together.

We have had a most enjoyable break in Aberfeldy, visiting Dunkeld and Birnam Highland games and the various antique shops in the town. The music is good and varied(and variable).
The Breadalbane Arms is excellent value and our visits always include a walk up The Birks O' Aberfeldy which start close to the hotel. The hotel staff are remarkably efficient and courteous but you have to be prepared to run to the hotel schedule. This is, presumably, how they manage to offer such cheap accommodation and food.
There is so much to do in the area that we are alrey looking forward to our next visit.
We always stop at John Lacey's shop where he displays his fabulous art works formed in horn and deer antler!
