Good clean rooms. Absolutely first class food and good helpings. Great atmosphere in the bar.

We spent two nights on the Island at a nearby B&B (No. 1 Broughton) and had one lunch and two dinners at the Hotel. The Bar / Restaurant food was brilliant and reasonably priced. Fish and chips appear to be a speciality. I would highly recommend the monk fish. Equally good were the scallop starters, crab salad and madras curry. On the basis of the food, quality of service and friendliness of the staff, I would have no hesitation in staying at the Hotel.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights with my Uncle and two of my cousins as we were tracing our family's roots. We really enjoyed our stay here. The food was great and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and certainly met all of our needs. The staff were so friendly and accomodating and even came to find us when we had visitors drop by. I would definitely stay here again..and I will when I return to the lovely Island of Westray. We booked a Bed and Breakfast package...very reasonable!!

We visited Westray as part of our Orkney island hopping and found this hotel to be a little gem
We were given a warm welcome and the room (3) had a great outlook over the harbour
After a long afternoon's walking we arrived back for a much needed drink in the bar where we met other locals and ended up chatting for ages before enjoying a lovely meal in the dining room
Bedroom had all the facilities you'd need and the bed was very comfortable
we'd stay there again
