B & B. A very spacious room on the top floor. Good WiFi reception. The building is accross the road from the beach and the sunrise over the water was spectacular. The owners and staff were friendly and could offer service in multiple languages. Pets were welcome and those that were there were quiet.

We arrived without warning the owners beforehand that we were bringing our dog, which didn't go down too well, though having booked online there was no indication we should. But that wee nip in the air soon thawed out. The owners went to a lot of trouble to make us welcome, and fed us fine breakfasts. My partner cut his finger one day and then bled all over the bed sheets overnight, but they were more concerned about his finger than the cleaning.

I've had the pleasure of visiting this guest house several times over the years and have never been disappointed. From the friendly welcome of the owners and the staff and their general helpfulness, great breakfast, splendid views and well-appointed rooms - it's a great home-from-home. I look forward to more visits.

I stayed for 3 nights at the burlington in July of this year. After I had read several good reviews of this property I thought it would be a good bet. However I have to say that I was very disapointed. The owner/staff were not very helpful- the room was not very clean. I actually found the staff to be downright rude to me. In terms of the value of the stay I wouldn't rate it at all. However- the breakfast was excellent.
