Great location right opposite Falkland Palace. Comfortable rooms. Food was very good. Would go back again.

Fabulous old pub. Owner very obliging. Took our luggage upstairs.
Little noise from the pub downstairs, not enough to worry us.
Food not great which is a shame because of the great effort the owner put in.
i visited the bruce last night which was saturday, and what a lovely pub it was. The service was very good and the steak i order was beautifully cooked along with a lovely home made sauce. I would definitely go back.
Intended staying for a number of nights but only managed 2. The room was poorly fitted put- light balancing on a chair, mattress was too small for the bed, room carpet dirty, bed not made, I could go on! To top this asked for breakfast at 7 but was told not possible, instead 7.30 first. Took this and waited, unsuccessfully for 40 minutes for a breakfast that did not materialise. Asked for tea, given coffee and ate in candlelight with three other guests, as only the bar was lit up- mice at night but not first thing in morning. My fellow breakfast guests ended up helping themselves as they were on the clock and needed to get to work.
All in all what should have been a nice country inn ended up a huge waste of money and overall disappointment.
Went to Falkland as a visitor and wanted something to eat looked at the menu for "The Bruce", average price. Went in - an old fashioned bar up front with dining area at the back. The menu said food served all day well this proved to be untrue . We were met by an unpleasant lady who said no meals served till 5pm. As a tourist visiting this area I was disgusted. We went to the Lomand Tavern - it was exceptional and amazing value.
