“A quite outstanding B&B”

I travel the length and breadth of Great Britain delivering specialised goods and have stopped at a variety of b&bs from Dover to John O'Groats. Purely by chance I was delivering to Cupar in Scotland and came across Wester Dura. As well as the excellent hostess Liana, this b&b must rate as one of the best I've ever stayed in. I strongly recommend Wester Dura as a place to stay.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We look forward to your return next time you (& your wife) have a delivery in the area. Alternatively wait for the better weather and come and enjoy spring in Fife. The scenery is beautiful and there are loads of things to do. If you are stuck for Christmas ideas treat yourselves to a National Trust membership and spend some time exploring local attractions. Hill of Tarvit and Falkland Palace are nearby. See you soon Liana

“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2011

Wester Dura B&B is an excellent place to stay. We recently stayed there whilst we were over to attend the airshow at Leuchars. Great breakfast, lovely room & a warm welcome. What more could you want?
Highly recommend.

“Best B&B I've stayed at...would love to come back.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2011

Wester Dura is a converted farmhouse located minutes from the historic towns of Cupar and St. Andrews, the home of golf. The B&B has expansive views over the surrounding countryside which provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing break. My room was well appointed and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was followed by a hearty breakfast (preselected from menu options). The dining / lounge room overlooks the garden which has plenty of birdlife, attracted to the birdfeeder. Liana is the perfect hostess, nothing is too much trouble and she shares all the local knowledge re attractions, restaurants etc. Fife is a beautiful area and Wester Dura is the perfect base while exploring it.

Would love to have you back too -and your wife if you can come back to Scotland on your next trip together. It's great when people enjoy our local area as much as we do.

“Don't hesitate!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

One of the best B&Bs we've ever visited. We stayed for 6 days after a one night visit three years ago. Beautiful and well-equipped room and bathroom, lovely breakfast with a good choice (pre-ordered the day before) eaten while watching the wild birds feeding. Wonderful views. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. Safe, off-road parking. Nice and close to St. Andrews and Cupar and a good base for visiting the region. Quiet. Sitting/dining room for guests with books, information on the region and games for young and old. Liana is extremely welcoming and helpful. It was our wedding anniversary when we arrived and we returned from dining out to find a card with a plate of fresh raspberries and chocolates. Wow!

“We'll Be Back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

What a lovely location and a beautiful home. Liana provides a great homely atmosphere and makes you feel more than welcome. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, with a whole range of items provided that you may have forgotten - a lovely touch, I think. The food was also superb with the breakfasts setting you up for the day ahead. The B&B is idealy suited as a base for touring the surrounding areas and caters well for families.
We will definitely be back with the kids as I'm sure they will love it too.
