The owner and the staff were friendly and the service absolutely first class - as was the food which I would recommend to EVERYONE! The dinner and breakfast were to die for and we will definitely be back again. I was a bit disappointed in the "deluxe" room (although it was clean and fresh and had lovely en suite) but sitting at the window looking at the view more than made up for it.

I could not stay the night as the Hotel was closed until Easter. I ate in the restaurant and had a lovely relaxed meal exceptionally well cooked . I am definitely coming back. Stunning location. This is a real find and borders on the eccentric- but I love that. When the world is so full of clone type hotels we need more places like this !!!!!

We stayed two nights at Forth View when we first arrived in Scotland... it was easy to drive from the Edinburgh Airport but that narrow hill down to the B&B is intimidating! Well worth it though as we enjoyed our stay very much. We tried the Room With a View Restaurant in the hotel as well and it was really delicious. Our room was large with really fabulous views across the water in all directions. Easy drive to St. Andrews too -- only about 45 minutes.

hidden gem,great staff, we were well looked after without being smothered(a fine art}.good sized rooms,fine food,great garden situated between rugged cliffs & the forth.very peaceful,a great staging point for exploring scotland.will definately be stopping there again.
