“Divine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

We LOVED our stay here. Bob's house is the most stunningly beautiful home. He has thought to everything from slippers by the door to delicious homemade shortbread by the fire in the afternoon. All of Bob's restaurant suggestions were spot on and his breakfasts were the best we have ever had. The house is perfectly situated for exploring the Antrim coast. We are already planning our return trip! Thanks Bob!

“The best of the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

Whitepark House was better than I had expected. The house is lovely, filled with treasures from Bob's travels. The sitting room is so comfortable with a fire and tea, I could have just stayed in there the entire visit. Our room was perfect, the bathroom was very large, and we wanted for nothing. The best part was Bob. He was friendly and helpful. He made great suggestions, and directions. When we didn't follow them, we would end up lost or in a difficult situation. He is very knowledgeable about Ireland.
Thank you Bob for a lovely stay. Next time, I will stay longer.

“Best shower in Ireland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2011

My friend and I stayed two nights in October at White Park House. It was the loveliest of all the B&B's in our two week travels. Bob has thought of everything to make a visitor comfortable. I was most appreciative of his suggestions to make the most of our limited stay in Northern Ireland. The breakfast was excellent and done exactly as I ordered.
The bathroom was spacious and very up-to-date with its fixtures.
At his suggestion we took Sam's taxi into Bushmills both nights. After driving two weeks on "the wrong side of the road", I was delighted to have a night off and be able to enjoy a glass of wine and an Irish coffee in front of a warming fire. Both Tartine and Bushmill's Inn were excellent. I highly recommend Bob and his White Park House.

Room Tip: The two suites we had were gorgeous...both corner rooms

“a real shame...”

I recently booked white park house because it had such terrific reviews on trip advisor. I have to agree with most of what they say; the breakfast was fantastic, the views (even through the rain) were great and the room was probably one of the nicest we have stayed in. However Bob as a host was definately not what we were expecting. His manner was quite rude and abrupt on arrival and he dismissed our (carefully thought out and researched) plans and we eventually felt we had to change our plans simply so he wuld leve us alone. Maybe we caught him at a bad time however we were quite shocked with his attitude and felt uncomfortable being at the house.
My advice is if you want to end up having the weekend Bob wants you to (which is not bad just feels forced and what everyone does who stays there) then White Park house really is a lovely place to stay. However if you have your own ideas and plans, stay somewhere else.
I personally would not recommend White Park house to friends.

“A wonderful stay at the Whitepark House!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

We (hubby and myself as well as my parents) had the pleasure of staying with Bob at the lovely Whitepark House for 3 nights. Not to echo what all other review say, but Bob is the perfect host and gives wonderful advice for the area - truly an ambassador! We loved one of his dinner recommendations so much that we had dinner at Tartine two nights in a row! The two rooms that the 4 of us occupied were lovely and the shower was the best that we have come across in Ireland in our trips. Breakfast was lovely shared with fellow travelers and we LOVED Bob's brown bread. The only possible downside that we saw to staying at the Whitepark House was that Bob was not willing to share his secret recipe for the brown bread! :-) Thank you Bob!
