“Definitely will NOT be back!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

This was my first time staying in a B&B and will certainly be my last! The room was very dirty, the bed was really uncomfortable that i couldnt sleep. There was an awful smell coming from the en-suite! Breakfast i skipped, but my partner said was terrible. The price was quite dear for a B&B, when i could have stayed at a 5*hotel down the road for an extra £30 which i would have happily paid! I would not recommend staying here.

“Very Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2010

Was attending a wedding in the area and found this on the N. I Tourist Board site.
Booked well in advance and gave my credit card details.
The experience was most disappointing. Drapes hanging off the bedroom window,
carpet on floor stained, bedside light not working, grouting in shower filthy looking which meant I was not able to take a shower it looked so dirty.
Tea and coffee facility in room but no milk, so unable to make a cup of tea when I returned after 12 midnight.
Breakfast was probably the best part, could not complain about that.
Told we would have to pay cash as the credit card machine was broken. Lucky enough
we had enough cash although my intention was to pay by credit card as my details were already taken.
Would not recommend this B & B and certainly would not stay there again.
Bad value for money, Could have got a hotel for almost the same price had I taken time
and checked it out further. Would not stay there again nor recommend it.

“Much like a hostel; disappointing.”

Quite disappointed; Room not at all impressive, breakfast not good. Would not return, nor would i recommend to friends or colleagues. Very expensive considering we could have stayed in a lush hotel a few minutes up the road for £10 more.
Parking was hap hazard, apparently across the road, but we were never shown before the lady disappeared.

“Awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2009

Could not recommend this B&B to anyone. It is expensive and not representative of some of the good value B&Bs in Ireland. A double in Galgorm Hotel is only £15 more expensive and vastly superior to this apparently 4star guest house. It is situated on a busy road and rooms are noisy, even though the lady owner tells you that they are not. The carpets are dirty and worn, The toilet in two rooms did not flush properly. Two guests who arrived at 9.35am for breakfast were be told that the kitchen was closed - Breakfast finishes at 9.30am! While the staff who serve breakfasts are very pleasant, the lady owner was quite argumentative, verging on the point of being rude.
