We stayed in west bay for three days ,found the George and bridport arms not to our taste,too expensive ,end of story.So we wandered around and found the Durbeyfield hotel so went in and found a lovely quirkey place very friendly ,very good prices,and excellent food and a good selection.I chose cottage pie ,and my wife had roast lamb dinner.The dinner was of generous portions so no room for desert.The hosts were the type of people you dont come across very often very friendly which made a nice change from quick in and out dinners you get in big restaurants.A big thankyou to the hosts from the couple from Swindon.

“OUTSTANING”

Cliff and Lindsey should be so proud of the staff .As they have yet again made our weekend so enjoyable.Nothing was to much trouble for any of them . can,t thank Mark enough
and as for the food second to none
faluty towers has nothing on the durbeyfield looking forward to our next vist in march

“Warm & Welcoming!!”

What a wonderful place this is! It was so friendly with great homemade food. The room was lovely with a nice big bathroom. The locals make you feel so welcome & at home.

“B&B by the sea”

Great little B&B / small hotel in West Bay 2 miles out Bridport. Very friendly staff, excellent home cooked food, 100 yards from harbour and seafront. Good pint of Doombar and friendly locals.

Nice comfy bed, even if en-suit was very small, excellent value for money.

Would recommend.

“Needs an upgrade!”

Very friendly, great food, but thats it. The rooms are terrible, and the bathrooms are worse. The door was so stiff we couldn't open it from the inside - fire hazzard. the en-suite was tiny and the shower disgusting!
