Our 2nd visit this year exceeded expectation. We loved our stay in summer but even in winter this pub has such a lovely warm atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and the evenings are great fun over fantastic food and wine. We will be returning as soon as possible!

I visited the beautiful Maltsters Arms this weekend- to celebrate New Years Eve, a 'Blitz Party' was thrown and it was just Fantastic.

The Landlord and Lady are so welcoming- and really pulled out all the stops to throw an incredible evening.

We also dined at the pub on New Years Day, and despite it being very busy- the food, service and staff were again, second to none.

I would definitely recommend this pub to anyone looking for a get away in a beautiful setting- the b&b service is also superb!
Can't wait to go back and visit in the summer....!

I stayed at the Maltsters Arms back in August and had a marvellous time then, with beautiful weather, views and great company from the welcoming staff. I joined the mailing list and when the notcie of what was happening at New Year was sent out, we jumped at the chance to join in the fun. Our hosts George & Alison threw one of the most memorable New Years Eve parties I have attended since 2000. The theme was Blitz Britain and everyone excelled themselves in their 40's theme fancy dress with RAF pilots & country squires rubbing shoulders with glamourous girls and their military counterparts. The four course menu was delicious and despite there being over 100 people for dinner, everything arrived out hot and together ; which is no mean feat ! The drinks flowed, the fireworks were incredible, the music carried on until the early hours and new friends were made. A truly unforgettable night.

At the end of a long week at work in the city, jumping onto a train and heading down to the Maltsters Arms is one of the best ways to spend a weekend. It's a short hop from the station in Totness and the warm buzzy welcome waiting for you is second to none. We arrived in the evening so we didn't get to see the amazing views, but this just makes it all the more special when you wake up in the morning as the creek is unbelievably idyllic.

The staff and owners are warm and friendly, the service is great and the food from the new menu is equally wonderful. I had such fun at The Maltsters and have since been recommending to friends and family. Can't wait to go back!
