Having only booked this 2 night break a couple of days before, we were thrilled at the whole experience. There are only 16 rooms and on the Saturday night this help to create a very informal, intimate atmostsphere. Dinner was first class and faultless. We had planned to visit the surrounding area the next day, but the temptation of the Sunday papers in front of a log fire put pay to that! Sunday night dinner was as good, however only one other couple in the hotel. Breakfast was also excellent. All staff were first class, not intrusive, but always at hand if required. What was only a couple of days away, gave us the relaxation of what seemed like a week!! Would definately return and have since recommended to friends who have already booked
