We decided to book ahead of our early morning flight from Exeter so chose this Travelodge.
We did not expect very much having only paid £19 for the 2 of us but when we arrived we were most surprised!
The room was spotless and everything seemed very new and gleaming.
It had all the basics you needed with a very comfortable bed, TV, tea and coffee. Very nice bathroom with bath and shower.

They do not supply shower gels or shampoo which they tell you on their web site.

It was very quiet there and we heard no traffic noise at all and I am a very light sleeper!

There is a Little Chef next door but we did not use it.

For value for money and comfort I give it 5 stars!

really pleased with this travelodge. we had room 5 which was downstairs, furthest to the left. it meant no one walking past the room, there was minimal road noise, very clean and the matress was comfy (although bouncy!). we were here for a cheap night away from the little one and were very pleased for the sale price. the curtains blocked the light, so we even got a 8:30 lay in which is rare, even at home! definitly worth up to forty pounds or so,...we got it for the twelve!

20 minute drive to Exeter town centre.

We stayed for one night in a first floor back room. It was as expected, basic but adequate, with ensuite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities as usual. Our window looked out on to a rural scene and as we are birdwatchers we were amazed to see four bullfinches and even a brambling plus others in the adjacent hedgerow feeding up just before dusk. A quiet peaceful night ensued despite it being quite full. No complaints especially at £29!

Clean, quiet and comfortable. An average Little Chef next door if you need an evening meal.
