We stayed at Devon Court in October 2011 and had a really lovely time. We took our dog which is the reason that we picked Devon Court. The flats are just holiday apartments but ours was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The bedroom did have alot of furniture for the size of it so there wasn't alot of room to move. Our apartment had recently been done up and had wood flooring etc. The views from our apartment were absolutely stunning. We could see the Breakwater and marina. In fact we were sat on our balcony, saw some divers on the beach and could not believe it when we realised they were in the water with a dolphin!! We were on the beach within 2 minutes and watching the dolphin.Simply unbelievable!!Had a really lovely break and will definitely be booking again. It was very good value for money.

Although the views are some of the very best on the Brixham coastline. The whole of the place is looking VERY tired & dated. Location to Breakwater beach is fantastic, and a 15-20 min walk to town. I would stay here again though.

We booked an 8 day holiday Friday-Saturday here in a top floor flat.- our Tripadvisor discount/ no booking fee voucher was honoured with no problems.
The flats are more basic holiday flatlets rather than luxury apartments but are competively priced and we took our own bed linen and towels rather than pay the extra charge. We were provided with pilows and a choice of duvets ( winter or summer TOG ). The electricity meter worked out about £1.50 a day which included cooking meals most days and baths so was not a problem. The flats are currently being upgraded to included new access staircases ( improving fire safety as well ) replacing the current corridor and the cramped bedrooms ( especially as we had a double and a single bed in ours ) will be enlarged.
However we would suggest the flats are most suitable for only two people and suggest the management consider making at least some of the bedrooms more spacious with just a double bed - especially as most guests were older couples. Our bathroom was dated ,but servicable and the kitchen/living room was modern but small but had everything we required including freeview TV. There is also a reasonable car park with good access and a space per flat. Parking is not easy in Brixham- so this is a definite bonus.
The main attraction of Devoncourt is its location by the Breakwater and Lifeboat station and the superb views right across the harbour and Torbay from the large picture window and from the balcony. One evening we watched the Lifeboat crews training during our dinner and the next night we observed a life call out - far more intersting than complaining about the lack of Sky or DVDs on our holiday.

had an amazing time i brixham .our first time at devoncourt ,we had a 1 bed ground floor flat .and the veiws were fantastic .i am a wheelchair user but there was not a problem with access just a small step into flat .the staff were very helpful and friendly .will deffinatly be going back as soon as possible wish we had booked 2 weeks now ,thankyou devoncourt we have found our ideal holiday place
