My father and I booked 2 x single rooms at the Sea Tang. On arrival we were lucky enough to bag a parking space slap bang outside the hotel - a real bonus since the road leading up from the harbour is very narrow, with lots of double yellow lines, so parking is at a premium. ( The landlady provides you with a permit to the municipal car park further up the road once you have booked in, if you need it ) Having climbed the steps to the entrance we were )shown up a few more flights of steep stairs ( not the easiest thing in the world for my father at 82, but manageable ) We were happy with our rooms. Although compact, tiny even, they were absolutely spotless and with the most spectacular views over Brixham harbour !The beds were 4 foot wide, which was a bonus and the rooms catered for every need including a well stocked hospitality tray, with tea /coffee /hot chocolate /milk/ biscuits / bottled water/ kettle/ mug/glasses , not to mention a mini fridge ! The en-suite shower room was superb -stocked with everything from cotton buds to shower gel and all points in between. Oodles of hot water at all times. Breakfasts in the cosy dining room were an experience - you could choose whatever you wanted, at least 5 different sorts of ceral for starters. Then there were the cooked breakfsts -the Full English would keep you going for days ! Everything best quality and served piping hot.
The landlady was very friendly and helpful and I don't think she'd missed a single thing in terms of making sure her guests had a comfortable stay.
Brixham itself is charming little resort, with plenty of restaurants /cafes and shops etc. The pub down the road from Sea Tang is really quaint, with a resident parrot !
As we were in Brixham to attend a wedding we only had 2 nights at Sea Tang but would give it full marks and would happily return !
