We have visited Guernsey so many times, first time1971. We have been in all sort of places on the island, selfcatering/guest houses towards two/three and even four stars hotels.
But this beats everything. The food was like we have never seen it before, fabulous. Hosts were forlmidable friendly and helpfull. The room was not very luxurious but acceptable.
Always thea/cooffe and a LOT of coockies available. The bar wich is a pub, always very lively , with some live music in the weekends. The skittle alley is the only left on the island and great fun !Sharon and Peter and their staff, couldn't do enough for us en we are very greatfull. Recommended alltough the Guernsey Tourist Board thinks otherwise. ( but we already travelled troughout the world and they probably dindn't !! )
Checkout the prices on their website. For the Channel Islands, unbeatable !
Downside, although its in a good walking distance from Cobo bay it 's a little bit far away from everything else but busses are passing by and a car takes you everywhere.
