Although we stayed for four nights, we never saw the owner(s) once during our stay - only the waitress and the cook. The room was clean, but very small, and noisy from 6:30 am onwards due to local traffic. Parking is a nightmare. The Guest house has no car park of its' own, so you have to park 300 yards away in a public car park overnight. ensuring that you return to your vehicle by 8:00 am to either move it, or display a parking ticket using the island's card - ticketing system. The breakfast was just "ok". Choice of 2 fruit juices, corn flakes, muesli or grapefruit to start and an english breakfast that, whilst freshly cooked to order, fell below the standard expected of a 4* establishment. Served between 8:00 and 9:00am you had to be down early to get one of only 6 available tables, otherwise you had to wait in the lounge until someone finished - not a major problem unless you have to be away sharpish to catch a plane, attend a meeting etc. Overall, not an unpleasant stay as such, but fell below our expectations when measured against the brochure description.
