The one good thing about this place is the restaurant. Although the food was decidedly average, the restaurant staff were excellent and always worked hard to please. The room was appalling. I think the island has been left behind a bit in the hotel stakes, and what we have come to expect on the mainland as a minimum standard is nothing short of opulence here. The room stank of cigarette smoke and the second day saw an infestation of ants. I photographed the shower head and the waste of the shower tray - that's always a pretty good indication of the standard of a hotel. The pool looked grubby and not well attended to. I wouldn't have gone in it even if the weather had been kinder. My recommendation - well, never again!!
