The extensive Hotel de France is located about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the centre of St. Helier, the vehicle entrance off the main road is a little disappointing, but don't let that dissuade you.

The main period building is quite attractive and has has a wonderful modern extension (there are other areas to the complex - exhibition space which has not been so attractively designed, but there again, you will not be staying in these buildings). There are a number of restaurants and bars to explore and enjoy.

The Ayush Spa and Leisure Centre has to be one of the best, consisting of the Spa, Main Swimming Pool, Hydro Therapy Pool, Sauna, Stream Room (not yet open), Cold Water Dip Pool, Blood Temperature Pool and Gym. Staff also quite helpful.

Spotless throughout and really very well designed with attention to detail, if you stay here, don't miss using these facilities.

I have been to Jersey on a number of occasions, staying in different hotels each time, however currently this is my favourite.
The reception area is very friendly amd welcoming and this also extends to the rooms, which are ample in size, comfortable, very clean and cheerfully decorated.
The hotel also boasts an excellent pool with a jacuzzi and also has a great gym.
The breakfast area is also very clean and spacious with a great selection of food on offer.
Added to the mix, the centre of St Helier is just a short walk away and the hotel is a good distance away from the noise of the centre of the City.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and can not fault it. Staff are brilliant, restaurants are great and breakfast is good.

I stayed here for 3 days whilst on a business trip. Granted the rooms are a little tired but very clean. After reading a few of the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect and was a bit apprehensive, I neednt have been. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I ate in the Cafe Aroma restaurant the first night - the service was impeccable and the food was first class. Breakfast also was very good with a wide selection of everything!
On top of this an amazing spa with infinity pool, sauna,steam room, jacuzzi and treatments should you want them. It looked very new and was spotless, I went at about 5pm and it was a little too busy, not so at 8am the following morning it was lovely! A very pleasant suprise. I shall return agian when not on business.
