we spent 2 nights at The Savoy and found all staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We ate at the Hotel on our first night and it was first class and also very good value for money.

I stayed here for 2 nights on business. All in all, a pretty good hotel.

Pros - excellent quality hairdryer in the room, nice large room, soft bed linen, friendly and efficient staff. Good-sized safe available in the room (big enough for a laptop comfortably) but it rather quaintly worked with a key rather than a code.

Cons - the swimming pool was closed for the season which I found disappointing as it had been heavily featured on the website with no indication of its closure, the location was slightly less central than other business hotels in St Helier. The wifi in the room was patchy but good in the reception areas downstairs.

All in all, perfectly adequate.

I stayed at this hotel with a colleague and found the hotel nicely situated for business meetings in St Helier. Our rooms were spacious and clean and although the hotel is opposite the police headquarters and next to the ambulance stations we didn't hear a lot of sirens and they certainly didn't disturb sleep.

The hotel was warm and friendly with nice features and appeared recently furnished.

Breakfast selection is pretty good, lots of choice for continental breakfast and a few options for a cooked breakfast although some cooked breakfasts had an additional supplement. I had the 'house' breakfast and it was very nice with perfectly cooked bacon - crispy!


The staff are very helpful and you can book a taxi from reception very easily. If the package price was right I would book
again.

We recently hosted a 50th birthday party at this hotel. It was excellent and the staff were very helpful both before, during and after the party. We stayed in the hotel for the night of the party and the room was very nice. Unfortunately it wasn't very soundproof and we could hear people talking in other rooms, so much so that it woke us in the morning. The room was also very cold and the shower was really a trickle.
Apart from that it is a very nice hotel with very tasteful decor and the staff were excellent. We would definitely recommend it as a party venue.
