Stayed here for three night bed and breafast break with evening meal included one night. .
Good points; Room was good size and bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly and helpfull. Evening meals were nice however I feel a bit on the expensive side for what you get.

Bad points: Rooms were dated and could do with uplift. Double bed was 2 single beds pushed together. Bed covers looked as if they were washed out and main cover had holes in it! Room was extremely cold and when I phoned reception desk they said they would put heat on.This was put on for approx 30 minutes however the radiators were not even heating up. Heat was not put on again during our 3 day stay even though the weather was very stormy and cold. This was especially annoying when showering, dressing etc. as it was very chilly at night in the room. We requested a room with a view and recieved a view of a large freight container outside the window and building yard complete with heavy plant machinery. Breakfast was also poor with dried up beacon, cheap economy sausages and egg which was burnt to a crisp each morning. A stark contrast from the food served in the evening meals. The bathroom had no ventilation at all or extractor fan!!! The television was montser of a relic which did not even work properly. Likeiwse the room could have done with some form of radio/CD to add some ambience. The hotel also claim they have entertainment "most nights" however there was no entertainment any night we stayed and it was pretty dead in the bar.

All in all I feel the bad points outweigh the good points and this hotel could do with a lot of improvement.

Stayed for one night. Bed was damp, reception was non-existant, food was just edible, teapot was dirty.

stayed witha large group and was made very welcome, got a great b and b and dinner deal.
Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast, everyone very friendly, definitely recommend this hotel

thanks so much for your warm welcome. Our room was very tidy, clean and warm. We greatly appreciated the generous breakfast, which was absolutely so delicious!!!! Unfortunately, our break was really too short, but we hope to return very soon! ;-)
