It is the only hotel in NCW. Very good basic motel. Clean and a good value. Nice pub and restaurant attached. Family rooms are quite large.

I stay in the Courtenay with my family when visiting my folks and the Courtenay always delivers to our requirements. I have stayed in the Courtenay about 7/8 times and have never had any issues. The staff are always very accomadating and friendly.

Booked this hotel for family funeral in the area. Found staff to be more than helpful. Room perfect, roomy, ample clothes space, dressing table, lovely bathroom with toiletries which was generous as have stayed in some 4* hotels recently where NO toiletries were supplied!!

The breakfast was very tasteful, fresh fruit salad, grapefruit, yogurts, cereals, the usual. The only little niggle was that that there was only one chair in the room but I'm sure if I had asked they would have provided a second chair. Would recommend this hotel to anybody particularly for the friendly staff at reception.

Staff were very kind and welcoming, especially Marie who was very helpful. It is not the fanciest hotel in the world but the staff and good food make up for it.
