We attended the wedding of Catherine Fitzgerald and Dominic West in Glin Castle. We enjoyed the wedding and the experience at Knights Haven was fantastic. The B&B is called after the Knight Glin as it is adjacent to it. From the moment we checked in we were treated like royalty. The rooms, service and breakfast was excellent. We were so relaxed we felt just at home. We have booked a weeks holiday there next year we were so happy and it is so reasonable, we got complete package for week for less than 1 night in a 5 star hotel and Knights haven is by far superior.

I recently stayed with my family in Knights Haven, we stayed in

the river view room overlooking the sea, the view was amazing and the tranquillity

was amazing. I have to say John was so helpful and made us feel so welcome, we

were very lucky with beautiful weather and the walks were gorgeous. We

Travelled to the Lanterns Hotel and Enrights for dinner and the food in

Enrights is fantastic although the restaurant itself leaves something to be

desired. Knights Haven was the best breakfast I have had in my entire

life . All in all it is a special place and I must say that we fell in love

with the place and I will return very soon.

From the second we arrived in Knights Haven we recieved some of

the best service we have ever experienced. I love this B&B and the host are

fantastic. The rooms were standard enough, very clean and everything required

in them. John & his family are friendly and helpful and nothing was too

much trouble. We found this a perfect base and played golf in Lahinch, Doonbeg,

Ballybunion, Killarney and Tralee. The furthest we had to drive was 1 hour and

enjoyed our 6 days in Knights Haven and the golf courses are the best we ever

played. The old Course in Ballybunion has to be the no 1 it is just

spectacular. John drove us to Enrights Restaurant in Tarbert run by the owner

who is a chef and got a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price. We all

enjoyed every second of our stay. I have booked a week with my wife and 2 children next September and cannot wait to return. My golf buddies are going to book with their friends also.

This must be the best B&B in the world. From the time you

drive through the gates and up to the house it is obvious that Knights Haven is

a special place. The greeting which we got from John is one of genuine Irish

hospitality. Our room was large and the view of the Shannon was

spectacular . The breakfast was awesome and what a choice and some great home

cooking. We had French toast, Pancakes, Irish Breakfast and Omlette on our last

day and each one was better than the next. There are beautiful walks around the

house and in the area and we had a very romantic walk into Glin along the Shannon

wall and around Hamiliton’s Tower. The peace and quiet is fantastic. I

have booked our next break in September for a week this time and cannot wait to

go back
