the staff here are very nice, our room was very cosy, spacious and clean!! the lily o' briens choc 's on arrival where a really good touch!! food in the bar was very good too!! really nice hotel all round!!!

Myself and my husband were married here on the 20th August 2011. We would highly recommended this hotel to any couple looking for a great wedding venue. From the day we booked to the time we left after our wedding the staff could not have done more for us.

The food was of exceptional standard and all the guests commented on the professionalism of the staff throughout the day.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Gary for making our guests so welcome and giving us such a memorable day. Would also like to say thank you to Jean in reservations for arranging our room allocations. Booking 100 people + for the night was a task in its own.

All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

I stayed on a groupon offer with my boyfriend for a weekend at the hotel. I have used groupon before for trips to hotels and have enjoyed some fantastic trips on a budget. The front of desk staff at the hotel really made the stay for us, they were friendly and accommodating everytime we needed something or contacted them. The room was a standard room which looked out on to a courtyard and side road, I found it to be a little noisy at night. The room was tidy but did have scuff marks in the side of the bath and an exposed electrical wire on the heated rail which I felt a little dangerous. We ate at the hotels restaurant on the Saturday night and both thought the food and service was excellent. The bar had a band playing that night and we enjoyed the good atmosphere while still being able to hold a conversation! I tried to book some treatments with the spa on the Saturday I was old however that they were fully booked and could only accommodate me for one treatment on the Sunday which I was disappointed with. However the staff at the hotel more than made up for any minor shortcomings we may have noticed during our stay, they were the friendliest staff we have met at any hotel we have stayed at and should be comended for their effort.

We would certainly recommend this hotel to any couple considering getting married. Our wedding reception was held there on the 17th of september 2011 and i can honestly say it could not have been better. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. The food on the day was nothing less than superb and all of the guests were of the same view. We would like to thank garry the duty manager on that day that really bent over backwards to make sure the day went smoothly without any problems also not forgetting the rest of the staff that were also very polite and helpful through out the day. The honeymoon sweet was huge and nothing but pure luxury. All in all, myself and my wife couldnt find one fault with this hotel for our day
