It is a good comfortable hotel, with all the basic amenities, but nothing exceptional. I was there during the week - it was extremely quiet and a long way from Sligo town. It was too quiet for us to want to eat in the restaurant so we ended up catching a taxi into town.
I can see how it could be attractive for a weekend break as it is close to the sea, but not mid-week in winter!
The hotel itself is a good Radisson Blu standard - great breakfast, good room, etc.

Thank you for taking time to write a review about the experience you had with Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Sligo.
I am delighted to hear that you had a comfortable stay at our hotel.
I can see you wrote a review at the end of January therefore I am making an assumption that you were staying at our hotel around January time. The winter months especially January (just after Christmas) would be very quiet and same applies to each and every hotel. Saying that, we had many guests staying in January and were nearly fully booked, but that was mostly during weekends. The Hotel is nearly full most of the days including weekdays during Summer period and if you need more action - this is the time to visit the Hotel. For more unusual experience we would offer different packages including horse riding, blo-karting, sea-kayaking, fishing and etc. to make your stay more adventurous.
We want to make sure that you will have best and positive experience and we hope to see you soon again at our Hotel.
