My husband and I stayed in this hotel last night after attending a wedding nearby yesterday. I have to say it is easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. While I love my 5 star hotels, I knew in advance that this was only 3 stars and didn't have high expectations to begin with.

The room is tiny. The bed is tiny. The bathroom has hardly room for one person to stand in. It is awful. We regretted paying the 95euro and wished we had just travelled home after the wedding.

We were attending a family wedding and thought it best to book a room for ourselves and our two young children ages 6yrs and 10mths. We requested a family room and when we arrived full of excitement our night was ruined almost immediately... We were given a disabled persons room to begin with something which didn’t bother me however I was upset to find they expected our baby to sleep in a travel cot beneath a large old TV on a shelf above his head( no room any were else). To make matters worse my 6 yr old went to use the bathroom only to find that the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time NOR HAD IT BEEN FLUSHED...Absolutely disgusting....Anyhow we were moved to another room very quickly this one posed the same problem for the cot. My husband had to rearrange heavy furniture to accommodate our baby. Whilst the bedding and bathroom was clean the carpet was too dirty to let our son down and to make matters worse it was beside the hotel car park....
Another thing I was none too pleased with was the manager himself. On one occasion I was bringing my 6yr old back to the room and as I entered the hallway the manager was at the other end swearing repeatedly on a phone call. As I proceeded to our door and unlocked it he made no attempt to lower his voice or stop swearing... Completely unacceptable...
To be fair though we were not charged for our stay and the wedding reception itself was lovely and the staff were very helpful.

This hotel has a lovely location and the hotel looks nice from the outside but I found the room a nbit shabby - there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor. The gent on reception was not particularly friendly. Breakfast was awful - a few bowls of cereals, some yoghurts and juice on the buffet table and no breakfast menu - a hotel with no breakfast menu!!! looked like they did not want to offer any choice. This hotel looks very tired and shabby - really needs to get its act together.

We stayed for one night. We were put into what seemed to be a smoking room. The mattress was of a poor quality. We could not get hot water out of the tap and had to boil a kettle to shave.
The food in the bar was not of a great quality. One of us had a chicken curry which was not of a good standard. Cold meat sandwiches seemed to be ok.
Breakfast was not of great quality and there was a poor choice for those who might like a continental breakfast. The trays were filthy and the tea was served in a pot that was not washed. I dont like being too critical of country hotels but it always annoys me when prices charged in hotels like this match those of cities such as Dublin but the quality of the food or of the accomodation does not match. We got the impression of a hotel not well managed and where more effort could be made. We would not go out of our way to come back.
