Coach driver had problem finding hotel.
As said by someone previously, there are some rough edges.
This was very evident in our bathroom and must be down to poor quality maintenance. Also wardobe door was just hanging on.
Noise from a wedding party went on all night with youngsters banging on bedroom doors in small hours.
Two drunks occupied reception all night and one 'mooned' our coach as it left.
Staff were pleasent. Food was ok.
if you have anyone elderly in your family or are yourself do not go here!
they are very unhelpful and managment was very rude
In a very pretty area and handy for motorway and town of Portlaoise. We chose this hotel for its location. First impression on telephoning the hotel to book was favourable. Pleasant and friendly. Directions to the hotel were sketchy and we spent about half an hour trying to find it. Overall the hotel is disappointing. It is badly in need of refurbishment and is very rough around the edges. However, it was spotlessly clean. In general the staff were very good. The breakfast was just o.k. I don't think we would stay there again.
