“Pleasant stay in lovely hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

This was my second time staying at The Osprey Hotel in Naas, it's located just off the main street in a quiet location and has very easy access to the motorway. It's a stylish and modern hotel in terms of its decor and layout. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite and enjoyed an enormous room with a little baloncy overlooking the central courtyard with a lovely, soothing waterfall in the background. The most beautiful aspect of the Suite is without doubt it's bathroom - it may seem like a strange observation however the bathroom was huge with two wash basin's, a huge free-standing bath and a seperate wet-room style shower with rainforest shower head, its easily the nicest hotel bathroom I've ever been in. While waiting for my partner to arrive from a flight I had a nice snack of Ceasar Salad in the bar, its also a very nice bar area and obviously locals agree as there were plenty in for food during my mid-week stay. I like The Osprey Hotel, its really handy for getting to / from Dublin in a nice town with great bars and restaurants. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful during both my stays. We will definitely stay again....

Room Tip: if you could request a room overlooking the central courtyard I'd recommend that.

“Nice hotel just makesure your not on a main corridor.”

Stayed for my 40th. We were going shopping at the Kildare village the next morning an we ate at Vie de Chateaux on the Friday night.
Good speedy check in, very polite staff and clean friendly hotel.
The meal out was fab, location to the outlet was brilliant. The nights sleep wasnt great though!! We were in room 227 and at 2:30 in the morning til 4am the noise from the partying guests on the corridor was oh too loud! Called reception and no answer twice called still no answer so I had to go out on the corridor to ask them to be quite, dogs abuse later all was quite. Spoke to the GM at breakfast who apologised and made amends by taking a sum of money off the room. Breakfast was vey good staff were attentive and I will stay there again definitely, I'll just get a room way away from the lift corridors. Great place to stay and this did not put me off going back.

Dear DrumcarTopchef,

Many thanks for your feedback and my apologies for the problems you experienced with noise, this is a rare occurrence but when it does happen can be annoying and should be dealt with promptly by our night team. “Really nice hotel but a bit out of the way”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Positives
Cleanliness, Service and Food all Excellent. Rooms very spacious with really nice shower feature and stand alone bath.

Negatives
Traffic into and out of naas seems to be quite bad on weekdays. Hotel also is difficult to find as signage is small.

Overall Great place to stay

Dear Culainn,

Many thanks for your feedback and your appraisal of the hotel. You are right about the traffic in Naas but if you approach the hotel from the second Naas exit on the way from Dublin most of this can avoided and you can be in the hotel in half the time! I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back and you can try this alternative route!

“Great Hotel, Great Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We have just returned from an overnight stay package at The Osprey and it was absolutely perfect. We booked as part of one of their spa overnight packages. We arrived at the hotel and were immediately checked in by a lovely receptionist Sarah, she was extremely nice, our room was large & clean.

The spa treatments were very good, as were the spa facilities.

Before we headed for our evening meal (which was part of the package) we popped into the bar for a drink, Damien was the guy behind the bar and he was absolutely brilliant at his job, he was informative, kind, friendly & very down to earth which i always think is great to see in hotel staff. He even authorised us to have our 3 course meal in the bar from there menu, instead of using the smaller menu of Mash which is where we were supposed to ear. This was great as there was a great variety on the bar menu and the food was absolutely gorgeous. We didnt have to ask or look for a drink once, Damien was very efficent at what he does and appeared to enjoy his work. So if anyone is heading down for a night, pop into the bar and ask for damien, he was great. Always great to see staff enjoying there work.

All in all a great experience and will definitely be returning to The Osprey.

“Perfect night away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We arrived just after lunch and our rooms were not ready so we went into the bar and had a very nice lunch. The place was packed with families enjoying the Carvery. When one of our rooms was still not ready the receptionist offered to upgrade one of our party to a junior suite!
Rooms were excellent huge comfortable bed, roll top bath and a walk in shower.
We ate in mash restaurant yummy food all our party had not complaints at all.
We made use of the spa facilities all included in our package and had a ball going in and out of the ice room, crystal room, sauna etc
