For 2 jet-lagged travelers who had been up for ~ 30 hours, the quite location down a one track lane was very welcome. All we heard was the wind blowing in from the ocean.
Off the main road and a great home base while on the Slea Head drive, but still just a 10 minute drive into Dingle town for dinner/pubs. Rooms are basic but clean and have sweeping views out to Ventry bay. Ted cooked our breakfasts from a range of menu options and they kept us going till dinner. (For a short but challenging hike across sheep pastures ask for directions to nearby Eask Tower. We stumbled upon it while driving and enjoyed the 360 views over the ocean and Dingle town at least as much as the touristy Cliffs of Moher.) We were fortunate to find Moriarty’s open during the very off season of December, but would recommend it any time of year!
